Through several projects over the past few years, Jenny Marrs noted that she and Dave loved teaming up with Windsor and praised the selection and quality of Windsor’s products and their role in bringing this fantastic project to life.

Ward Lake Home Transformation

Windsor has always prided itself on giving homes a second chance by helping homeowners and builders alike achieve their vision for their home projects. That’s why Windsor was delighted to team up with Marrs Developing again, this time for a project featured on HGTV’s Fixer to Fabulous, which follows the story of a lake home renovation inspired by the Ward family’s own experience with second chances.
After overcoming serious health scare, the Ward family of three was thrilled to be selected as an HGTV Fixer to Fabulous project and to work alongside show stars Dave and Jenny Marrs as they remodeled their lake home in Rogers, Arkansas. This inspiring story of hope and second chances involved a complete remodel of their home exterior with many custom features. Using Windsor’s Painted Black Next Dimension Signature Vinyl, the home was transformed over a six-week period from a “fixer” to a fabulous Modern Nantucket Cedar Shake by installing a variety of casements, awnings and direct set windows. Large, Pinnacle French sliding doors were also installed on the back side of the house to bring in more natural light and provide a beautiful, panoramic view of the lake front.
The project also included a bonus renovation of the Ward's boathouse, transforming the space into warm, entertainment area, complete with covered patio, counter height bar seating, custom lighting and a fishing pole storage area titled “2nd Chance Fishing Club.”
Dave and Jenny Marrs really appreciated Windsor's selection and quality of products. Windsor's Easy to Do Business With mission was key in completing this fantastic project under challenging timelines.
Working closely with the renovation team from Marrs Developing and the HGTV producers, Windsor and their authorized distributor Meeks Lumber, met all deadlines to not only deliver a beautiful renovation, but also recount a wonderful story of second chances and hope for the nationwide HGTV television audience.
