Project Description

This stunning, newly built contemporary home is a representation of high-end luxury, designed to maximize breathtaking waterfront views of Union Lake in Commerce, Michigan. Outfitted with Windsor Pinnacle windows and doors, every detail was meticulously planned to bring the outdoors in. Further blurring the line between indoor and outdoor living, the oversized Windsor Select folding door completely opens up the home to the expansive deck overlooking the lake, creating a seamless transition for entertaining and enjoying the breathtaking views. The sleek black-on-black interior, complemented by black contemporary handles, creates a bold yet sophisticated aesthetic. Contemporary interior stops enhance the clean, modern lines, while the energy-efficient LoE 366 glass with black Super Spacer ensures both comfort and performance. Thoughtfully positioned to frame the lake’s natural beauty, the expansive windows transform every room into a serene, light-filled retreat.

Unique Requirements and Solutions

Blending Windsor Pinnacle windows with storefront windows was a key challenge in this project. With both styles being incorporated, even within the same rooms, it was essential to match finishes, sight lines and design elements to ensure a seamless, cohesive look throughout the home that maintained its modern style. Careful coordination ensured that the black finishes, contemporary profiles and glass type aligned perfectly, creating a consistent appearance. When the project was completed, the result was stunning. The Windsor windows and storefront application worked together effortlessly, enhancing both the architectural vision and the home’s overall elegance.
