In recent days, our normal way of life has been severely disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout this turbulent time, Windsor will be working diligently to protect the health of our employees and mitigate the spread of the virus within our communities while continuing to serve our customers.

We have faced many challenges in the past, but this situation is different than anything we have dealt with before. I have already seen tremendous resolve demonstrated from people throughout this country including our business partners and employees within our company. With every individual demonstrating ingenuity, strength, courage and compassion, I am certain we will overcome this event, as well.

Safety is deeply ingrained in the Windsor culture. The health and well-being of our team members is our company’s top priority. We are following the WHO (World Health Organization) and CDC (Center of Disease Control) recommendations by taking the following measures of protection:

  • Halting business travel, plant tours and training sessions
  • Instructing employees to stay home if they feel ill
  • Eliminating group meetings and promoting social distancing across facilities
  • Increasing sanitation and deep cleaning of our facilities
  • Encouraging frequent handwashing

We are working with our distributors and vendors around the country to monitor logistics and enact contingency plans to minimize disruptions. In addition, we are communicating regularly with our employees and educating them on the most current information on the pandemic.

Windows and doors are an important component to the housing industry and we are committed to maintaining our operations and serving our customers to the best of our ability. At this time, we are continuing to conduct essential work and are operating as normal, but with added precautions. Our employees are continuing to build and deliver the windows and doors that builders and homeowners rely upon. I am very proud of our employees as they persevere through this difficult time.

There is much uncertainty in the world right now, but through all of this, we are also seeing the best of humanity; employees helping coworkers, friends caring for neighbors, and family members supporting one another. As in previous crises, it seems the worst of times brings out the best in people. Families, friends, and complete strangers are uniting together to overcome adversity. I am confident that we will overcome this… TOGETHER.
