New Products for 2011

We are actively working on several new product initiatives for 2011. The specifications and completion dates may change slightly as these projects evolve, but here's a sneak peak at some projects that are in the works. We will provide formal announcement bulletins when details are finalized.

East Coast Vinyl Offering - Windsor windows has recently purchased new vinyl manufacturing equipment for our North Carolina facility. This equipment will be used to produce a new offering we will be calling Next Dimension Classic and will initially be available only to customers served by our North Carolina facility. We look forward to providing a vinyl product offering for the New England, Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern markets. Some product features to look out for include Single Hung and Double Hung product with sloped sill, tilt sash and Brickmould profile frame. Options will include Profiled Innergrille, Simulated Divided Light and performance levels to DP50. We are diligently working through setting up the equipment, opening supply chains for materials and preparing launch materials and support tools. We are anticipating initial customer introduction and training in the first quarter of 2011 for an early spring launch.

Pushout Casement - Responding to requests for a competitive higher end clad pushout casement product, we have finalized a concept design. The platform, which will be called Pinnacle Select, consists of a wider sash profile to house the requisite locking hardware. Along with pushout versions of casement and awnings, the Pinnacle Select product line will also include operating, fixed, picture and transom versions to match sightlines on complete projects. Current projects are for a late spring or early summer launch pending the testing and certification process.

Concealed Jambliner - You've been asking for a concealed jambliner for Pinnacle Clad Double Hungs; we've got one in the works. We're still in the concept design stages, so we can't speak too much about the offering or timing yet, but we're getting excited about the way things are starting to look!
