The March 2013 Power Tools update introduced 3 exciting product enhancements. The following is a brief summary of what's new.
Short Putty Bar Option for Pinnacle Clad Casement and Direct Set – Short exterior putty bar option was added to clad casements and directs for those applications where these products are mulled to other products where short putty bar is the only option, such as double-hung, radius and patio doors. This option allows for consistent putty bar depth and detail when mulling any clad product to another.
Quad Sliding Patio Doors Set-up – An option was added to allow for setting up quad sliding patio doors. The set-up option includes complete set-up of the frame and installation of both inactive panels. The 2 active panels will still be packaged and shipped separately. The quad sliding patio door set-up charge is $200 list per door. You will still have the option to order quad sliding patio doors knocked down (KD) for those applications where it is required.
Flanged 180 Brickmould Exterior Trim – Windsor expanded its already extensive cellular PVC exterior trim offering by adding a 180 brickmould profile with an integral nailing fin. The integral fin not only allows for nailing during installation – thus eliminating the need to nail through and fill the brickmould profile – but also gives the installer the ability to apply flashing. The flanged 180 brickmould will be available applied on Pinnacle Prime, Legend and Legend HBR products or in lineal.
