For the past several months, Windsor has been developing a line of window products to meet the needs of the Remodeling and Retrofit (R&R) market. This line of pocket replacement windows includes a wood clad double-hung, a hybrid double-hung operating and picture window product, and a vinyl double-hung operating and picture window.
Windsor’s pocket replacement windows utilize the innovative features of other product lines, as listed below:
- The clad double-hung utilizes the same sash, hardware, balance and concealed jambliner system as the Pinnacle clad concealed double-hung in conjunction with a new stepped clad 3-1/4” pocket frame.
- The hybrid double-hung uses the same stepped clad 3-1/4” pocket frame as the clad double-hung product along with a Legend cellular PVC sash.
- The hybrid balance system uses the same balances as the clad pocket window, with a new one-piece fixed jack jambliner.
- The vinyl double-hung platform uses the same sash and balance system as the Next Dimension Classic double-hung with a new 3-1/4” deep non-brickmould frame.
