A pre-finished interior is now available on Pinnacle Clad wood windows. Painted interior trim is extremely popular, especially in homes with traditional classic architecture, but is also frequently used in contemporary homes. This option has the potential to save builders a substantial amount of time and money, as well.
Our Painted White interior finish consists of a water-based acrylic latex finish coat applied over a water-based primer. This combination creates an attractive smooth, durable finish. Windsor offers a 2-year warranty against cracking, peeling, checking, delaminating, blistering, or flaking. An updated Pinnacle Warranty is available on our website.
This finish will be available on Pinnacle Clad products with a 3-week lead-time. However, this option will initially only be available on Pinnacle Clad Glide-By windows by submitting a Custom Product Request. Distributors will be notified when Glide-By windows are officially added to the offering.
In the coming weeks, each distributor will receive one Painted White interior finish sample. The sample consists of a 3" piece of WM-356 trim with one fastener hole filled to specification. This fastener hole will serve as an example of how similar irregularities will be finished. A label on the backside of the sample indicates the Sherwin Williams color number, color values, and gloss range. Additional samples, along with touch-up material, will be available for order by contacting your Inside Sales Representative.
The Painted White interior finish will be available to North Carolina Plant customers as soon as possible with availability to Iowa Plant customers to follow shortly afterwards. Specific details will be announced as they become available.
