2009 Sales Awards

Windsor is selective about aligning with the best building material distributors in the industry. We carefully select companies to represent our products and seek out people who possess leadership and integrity. Superior customer service is a priority to us because it is the key to acquiring new customers, and is equally important in retaining existing customers. It is the one quality that truly predicts the growth of a business.

Each year Windsor recognizes Distributors who exemplify these characteristics and substantially grow their business. 2009 was a difficult year to accomplish this goal. Despite adverse conditions, the following 10 business partners received 2009 Excellence Awards:

2009 was a year where results were often not a true reflection of the effort put forth. However, Windsor appreciates the dedication and support of all our alliances.

Windsor is fortunate to have one of the most experienced and talented sales staff in the industry. Our regional and divisional sales managers are true professional who are knowledgeable in the fenestration industry, skilled in the craft of residential construction, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service. They are the life-blood of our organization and we are grateful for their dedication and continued efforts. Two Regional Sales Managers were recognized for exceptional results in 2009:

  • Jay McCarty is the recipient of a Silver Excellence Award. This was a very significant accomplishment under difficult circumstances.
  • Tom Arnold won The Presidents Award for Sales Growth. Tom grew his business by 10%. This is commendable, especially in Florida, which is one of the toughest housing markets in the nation.

Windsor also presents a Sales Professional of the Year Award. The Regional Sales Manager's performance is evaluated in a variety of categories: size of territory, growth of territory in dollars, growth of territory by percent, growth from existing accounts, expense control, and new accounts added. There were several top contenders for this year's award: Mike Rollier, Greg Hancock, Tom Arnold and John Ricci. All of these Regional Sales Managers performed admirably.

  • Tom Arnold was the top performer and received Windsor's 2009 Sales Professional of the Year Award.

Tom's success was achieved by diversifying his business and securing commercial retrofit projects across the southeast. We admire and appreciate Tom's ingenuity and perseverance and congratulate him on his accomplishments.
