Windsor Windows & Doors is proud to be recognized by the Union County Chamber of Commerce for the second consecutive year as a Gold Award Winners in employee safety. The Chamber of Commerce collaborates with the North Carolina Department of Labor to host an awards banquet, which several Windsor team members attended on May 24th. The banquet highlights organizations that have created a safety-focused culture, while encouraging continuous improvement.
To win the Gold Award an employer must demonstrate at least 50% below the industry average in days away from work and job transfer or restrictions for the entire workforce. Windsor Windows & Doors of Monroe has achieved these goals and we take great pride in our safety program by having a culture that makes safety first above all else. To be successful in this endeavor, it requires daily focus, effort, and dedication to this goal. However, we feel it is our greatest responsibility to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
