Windsor’s Pneu-Mech Vinyl Paint System utilizes an overhead conveyor that provides a consistent and continuous flow of vinyl components to help us manage fluctuating volume demands. The vinyl components first enter a dual zone cross draft spray booth that allows for individual spray setting for both the base and top coat on all painted units. The components then enter a filtered flash-off chamber to begin the drying and curing process. The flash-off tunnel is connected directly to the spray booth and curing oven to minimize paint contamination and decrease travel time through the system. The vinyl pieces then enter a four stage halogen infrared cure oven. The four stages of the cure oven monitor the surface temperature and adjust the heat being applied, efficiently curing the paint to ensure a quality finish and long lasting bond between the paint and the vinyl. Once the components leave the cure oven they are removed and inspected before being returned to production for final assembly. Every aspect of this paint system works together as a cohesive system to ensure even coverage and durable adhesion.
