Windsor Windows & Doors in Monroe, North Carolina, cares about its community. The company helped provide the high-performance windows used in Union-Anson County Habitat for Humanity’s recent build for the Conrad family.
At 1,550 square feet, the Conrad’s home is larger than your average Habitat house. It has 4 bedrooms, with one bedroom being used for the family’s barber shop business. Windsor deeply discounted its high-efficiency windows as part of a donation to ensure the Conrad family can enjoy their new home while keeping energy bills under control.

In an interview with WRAL, construction manager Troy Pruitt said, "This is a very well-constructed, durable and energy-efficient home.” Windsor supplied windows that are 50 percent more efficient than standard windows, according to Pruitt.
Grant money also paid for a more efficient water heater and heat pump, while the city of Monroe helped by waiving sewer and water hookup fees, saving thousands of dollars.
