WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, January 15, 2018 — Windsor Windows & Doors, a leading brand of residential windows and patio doors, has announced an expansion that will include a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that’s been constructed in Norwalk, Iowa. The 160,000 square-foot facility will house the manufacturing of vinyl windows and patio doors and a technologically advanced glass line.

Adam Tillgren, the project manager for this expansion, stated “The City of Norwalk, Simonson Architecture and Downing Construction, along with many other business partners have been outstanding to work with. They have made the execution of this building project a very manageable process.”

The production of our various wood patio door lines will soon occupy the former vinyl production facility in the West Des Moines location. This reallocation of space will subsequently allow for additional equipment in our wood production facility providing additional finishing capabilities in the wood production facility.

Mark Rieser, the president of Windsor Windows & Doors, mentioned “The additional production capacity that this building will provide for all of our product lines will be greatly needed as we anticipate a year of significant growth.” This expansion will allow Windsor to stay ahead of the growing nationwide demand for their window and door products.
