This past summer, a few ingenious employees At Windsor’s Monroe, North Carolina plant transformed a small piece of land in the parking lot into a productive garden. The small plot yielded a surprising number of vegetables including tomatoes, squash and cucumbers that were handed out to co-workers.
Now that the crops have been harvested, the employee gardeners have utilized this area to plant sunflowers and colorful mums to decorate for the fall. They even erected a scarecrow to brighten the day for all who pass by. This is just another small example of how our employees go above and beyond to “make a difference!”
