For the 5th straight year, Windsor’s Monroe, North Carolina plant was awarded the North Carolina Department of Labor’s Gold Safety Award. It was presented to our Division Environmental Health and Safety Manager, Bernardo Penoro, by the Union County Chamber of Commerce at an awards ceremony held on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021.

This year’s award was especially meaningful considering the complex situations our manufacturing facilities have encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting supply chain constraints and labor shortage. The team remained focused on Woodgrain’s top priority, which is to keep our employees safe while ensuring the customers’ needs are met.

This award is a testament to what can be accomplished when a dedicated group of individual uses effective communication to focus on their goals. Windsor salutes these employees and appreciates this significant accomplishment.
