Those Who Make a Difference

Each month, this internal initiative celebrates those outstanding individuals who make a difference in our company through self-motivation, consistency, dedication and engagement in the work they do every day. The managers from each of our three production facilities will select employees who demonstrate these qualities as “Difference Makers.” We are proud to recognize these special employees who exemplify the strong work ethic and personal integrity, and who make Windsor extraordinary.

Zo Liana

The March 2022 winner of the Difference Maker award in our Norwalk plant was Zo Liana. Zo works 2nd shift and has learned many aspects of the production process during his time here. He is engaged in his work and is eager to complete any task that is given to him. He is dedicated to achieving the goals of the company and keeping up with the demands of the daily work schedule. Zo communicates effectively with all Windsor employees and makes a positive impact every day. Thank you, Zo.

Santiago Ramirez

Congratulations to Santiago Ramirez for being chosen as the April Difference Maker in our West Des Moines plant. Santiago is consistent in his daily activities and is dedicated to his role of making sure all units get wrapped for shipment each day. Despite his heavy work schedule, he is always engaged and motived to meet the daily goals of his department. Santiago comes to work each day with a positive attitude and gets along well with his co-workers within his department and throughout the plant. He truly makes a difference at Windsor. Great job, Santiago.

Derek Brotherson

Derek Brotherson was the May winner of the Difference Maker award in our West Des Moines facility. Derek works in the double hung area and is always willing to take on challenging tasks for his department. He is willing to come in early to ensure that the production line runs smoothly and is focused on maintaining the production schedule. He assists other departments as needed so that they also achieve their daily goals. Thank you, Derek, for showing us all what it means to be a Difference Maker.

Spencer Schmidt

The Difference Maker for March in our West Des Moines plant was Spencer Schmidt. Spencer transferred from Norwalk to West Des Moines in early 2022 to assist with production needs and assist as a leader within various departments. He is eager to lend a hand whenever needed and is dedicated to the goals and success of the company. Spencer consistently has a positive attitude and has been a huge asset while working at the WDM plant. Thank you, Spencer, for making a difference every day at Windsor.

Lal Thanpuia

Lal Thanpuia was selected as our April Difference Maker at the Norwalk Facility. Lal works in the vinyl patio door department and demonstrates all the qualities needed of a Difference Maker including consistency, motivation, engagement and dedication. He is dependable and puts forth his best effort each day. Lal always keeps busy and is described as a “self-starter.” He was instrumental in getting the patio door area up and running after the Tornado damage in early March. Congratulations, Lal. Keep up the good work!

Thanh Nguyen

The May Difference Maker from our Norwalk location was Thanh Nguyen. Thanh works in the vinyl specials area and in the vinyl patio door department. While the Norwalk plant was temporarily shut down, Thanh assisted the WDM Select casement department and was extremely helpful in assisting them in achieving their daily goals. He comes to work each day with a positive attitude and is always ready to jump in and assist wherever he is needed. Way to go, Thanh!

Jeremy Maness

Jeremy Maness was elected the March Difference Maker in our North Carolina facility. Jeremy works in the display department and has been employed at Windsor for over 2 years. He steps up to assist other departments when needed, while maintaining his own daily responsibilities. He is a fast learner with a great attitude and is very flexible when asked to assist in other departments. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys working outside and spending time with his family. Congratulations, Jeremy, on being nominated as Difference Maker by your peers.

Ashley Brinkman

The April recipient of our North Carolina Difference Maker award was Ashley Brinkman. Ashley works in the R&R department and has been a Windsor employee for the past 10 years. Ashley is described by her peers as having a pleasant personality and readily volunteers in other areas of production that need assistance. Ashley is eager to learn new tasks and has great attention-to-detail that she shares with her team members. In her spare time, she treasures spending time with her children. They enjoy working on crafts together. Thank you, Ashley, for your hard work and dedication to Windsor.
