West Des Moines, IA — Whether it is Burnt Pumpkin or River Rouge Red, homeowners and builders are now able to select from these colors and more for the exterior cladding on Windsor’s wood windows. Windsor’s color palette has more than quadrupled in size, offering the original seven standard colors in addition to the 30 new feature colors. This new program, and the ability to custom color match, makes Windsor a more comprehensive company from which to buy windows.
The 30 colors were chosen as the most frequently selected colors among architects. As suggested by Windsor’s distributors, all colors are available in AAMA 2605 70% Kynar 500. This is particularly important for very tall buildings or buildings located near the coast, since both are subject to a harsh chemical environments.
“The market place is becoming more diverse; it is becoming an increasing priority among homeowners and builders to differentiate their home and businesses from others. Offering a variety of cladding colors is one way to help our distributors meet this growing demand,” said Eric Holm, Windsor’s Product Manager.
After careful evaluation, Windsor chose to partner with Linetec, a nationally recognized finishing company that produces architectural coatings to the highest quality standards in the Fenestration Industry.
