This marks the fifth time in six years the window division has been designated as Woodgrain’s safest division, demonstrating exceptional worker safety in all three of its manufacturing locations:Windsor Windows & Doors locations in West Des Moines, IA and Monroe, NC, as well as Monarch Windows in Anniston, AL.

Impressive safety metrics along with a recordable incident rate that was below industry average were instrumental in the success of the division this year.

“We are most proud of operating a business that puts employees’ safety first,” said Mark Rieser, President of Woodgrain’s Window Division. “Our company values our employees and takes their safety very seriously.”

Kelly Dame, CEO of Woodgrain Millwork, announced the winning Woodgrain division during a corporate meeting in Fruitland, Idaho earlier this year. This award was created to foster a culture that values personal responsibility for a safe workplace. This exemplifies one of Woodgrain’s core values, the respect for people.

Receiving this award is a great honor for each of the five divisions of Woodgrain Millwork and Windsor will proudly display the award throughout the year.
