Making a difference means extending a helping hand to those less fortunate, and stepping up when others are in need. Through acts of compassion, commitment, collaboration, and courage we can take a step toward a hunger-free Iowa and effecting change in our community.
On August 21and 22, twenty Windsor Employees volunteered their time packaging meals at the Food Bank of Iowa’s 48,000-square-foot distribution center in Des Moines, IA. Together, volunteers were able to put together packaged meals for approximately 7,500 Iowans in need of nutrition assistance.
The Food Bank of Iowa is a registered nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger in Iowa by providing food for Iowa children, families and seniors to lead full and active lives, strengthening the communities where they live.
