The Executive Council on Construction Supply recently toured Windsor Windows & Doors' Iowa production facility.
The Executive Council on Construction Supply is composed of leading independent lumberyards and building material companies throughout the United States and Canada. Windsor Windows & Doors is one of the sponsors of this organization. The purpose of the organization is to study the marketplace, discuss best practices, identify opportunities and develop beneficial strategies that they can implement in their own businesses. They seek out the most forward-thinking companies to join their ranks.
The organization meets annually – this year’s meeting was held in Des Moines, Iowa from October 11-13. During the afternoon of October 12, the members toured Windsor’s West Des Moines manufacturing facility. The group received an in-person demonstration of how our company receives materials, manages inventory, operates the business, builds the windows and patio doors, and ships these products.
It was exciting to welcome this distinguished group of building industry professionals into our facility.
