Eric Mercer
Bill joined Windsor in 1987 as a Customer Service Manager and went on to serve in several key roles including Shipping Manager, Plant Manager and Product Manager, before assuming his current role of Director of Marketing and Product Development in 2004. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping Windsor’s success. Bill has been a steady presence through challenging times and a true embodiment of our company values. He is a selfless leader who exemplifies the principles of Servant Leadership and it is his deep engagement with customers, vendors and employees that has earned him the affectionate nickname “Mr. Windsor.”
Among his many achievements, Bill played a pivotal role in the development of our Pinnacle Patio Door line, Revive, and numerous product innovations and enhancements. He also facilitated our annual strategy development and served as Windsor’s representative in governmental advocacy and affairs. The entire Windsor family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Bill for his nearly four decades of service, loyalty and passion.
Due to Bill’s retirement, Phil Weber has been promoted to Director of Product Development. Phil joined Windsor in 1995 as a Design Engineer and has since held roles including Senior Design Engineer and since 2001, Design Engineering Manager. His track record of success, management style, exceptional Windsor product knowledge and leadership experience make him an excellent fit for this senior role.
As a result of Phil’s promotion, Eric Mercer has been promoted to Design Engineering Manager, and will be leading the Product Design team. Eric began his Windsor career in 2002 as a Production Manager and transitioned to Design Engineering in 2005. He has served as Design Engineering Manager for the Monroe plant since 2007, where he managed other engineers and drafting, so he is well-prepared for these new responsibilities.
Please join us in congratulating Bill on his retirement and Phil and Eric on their new positions. These new leadership roles became effective July 7, 2025.
