Those Who Make a Difference

Each month, this internal initiative celebrates those outstanding individuals who make a difference in our company through self-motivation, consistency, dedication and engagement in the work they do every day. The managers from each of our three production facilities will select employees who demonstrate these qualities as “Difference Makers.”

Maung Khaing

Maung Khaing was the September Difference Maker for our Norwalk facility. Maung is a relatively newer employee, having worked for Windsor for just over 1 year. During that time, he has demonstrated consistent quality workmanship and is fully engaged in every responsibility that has been given to him. Maung works on the second shift and has been motivated to learn many different jobs on the shift. He is an asset to all who work with him. Maung has shown by these actions that he is dedicated to the success of Windsor and to the daily goals of the departments. Thank you, Maung, for making a difference!

Gary Reynolds

Gary Reynolds was selected as the September Difference Maker in our West Des Moines, IA plant. Gary possesses all the qualities necessary to be a “Difference Maker”: consistency, motivation, engagement and dedication. Gary is a long-term employee who has tremendous Windsor knowledge and demonstrates a high-level of consistency in all his job responsibilities. Gary is motivated and engaged in all assigned tasks and puts forth his best effort each and every day. Due to Gary’s vast patio door experience, he has assisted the patio door department with Ashworth patio door orders. This assistance has been instrumental in helping the department achieve their production goals. Congratulations, Gary, on being recognized as a Difference Maker by your peers and management.

Kenneth Helms

The October recipient of the Difference Maker award in our North Carolina facility was Kenneth Helms. Kenneth has been employed at Windsor for 4 years and works on the casement line. He is extremely reliable and demonstrates his commitment to Windsor by never missing a day of work and by never being late. He offers his assistance to the 1st and 2nd shifts, despite having a fully operational farm at home. Kenneth truly goes above and beyond to ensure the success of Windsor. Thank you, Kenneth, for all that you do.

Bobby Johnson

Congratulations to Bobby Johnson for being selected as the November 2021 Difference Maker in our West Des Moines, IA facility. Bobby works in the casement department and has learned many different roles within the department. His quality of work is excellent, and he continually strives to work towards the daily goals of the department. Bobby is fully engaged in the daily tasks he is assigned and never hesitates to pitch in where needed. His positive attitude makes him enjoyable to work with and is a great motivator for us all. Keep up the good work, Bobby!

Phonekeo Sivannarath

The November Difference Maker award at our Norwalk plant was Phonekeo Sivannarath. Phonekeo is a long-term employee and is considered to be the “expert” at his job. He works with little supervision and always has a positive outlook. When faced with challenges, such as parts outages and machine downtime, Phonekeo thinks outside the box to get his work completed. Phonekeo is also very organized and thorough with his work; qualities that help his production area run as smoothly as possible. The entire Vinyl Patio Door line appreciates his dedication and all of the work he puts in to keep the department moving. Congratulations, Phonekeo!

Alan Mullis

Congratulations to Alan Mullis on winning the title of Difference Maker for November in our North Carolina plant. Alan works in the door department and has worked at Windsor for the past 6 years. Alan was nominated for a Difference Maker because he gives the door line his 100% best effort and is a great team player. He has proven that he can make a difference in the way the department performs while always keeping quality and safety his number one priority. Alan is also eager to learn and grow within the company so that he may take on more responsibilities. Great job, Alan!
