Shipping Delays Patience Required

Many who have recently attempted to order apparel from Windsor’s Company Store have encountered a frustrating experience. The lack of corporate apparel due to supply chain issues has become a significant problem and is unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Unfortunately, this has made timely fulfillment of orders very difficult.

During the pandemic, many corporate offices were closed, and many people were working from home. This brought the demand for company apparel to a near standstill. As a result, many suppliers of these garments stopped manufacturing apparel and they laid off employees as demand hit an all-time low. This has affected nearly every apparel provider including Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, North Face, Port & Company and Port Authority.

With many employers now bringing employees back to the office, demand for branded apparel has exploded. But with raw material being unavailable, as well as employee shortages and lower factory capacity, manufacturers have struggled to keep up with the current demand. As a result, inventory for the company store has been unreliable and has resulted in an inability to complete some orders.

Most of the apparel items on our company store are decorated on demand. This means when you place an order, we embroider the garment with your logo as a part of the entire order. We do not inventory pre-decorated apparel or blank garments.

Supplier inventory changes daily, sometimes hourly, so inventory that may be available in the morning may be out of stock by that afternoon. Some customers have been frustrated with getting through the order process only to learn that the item is not available when checking out. If an order cannot be fulfilled, we’ve begun sending customers an email indicating the problem. The message indicates that anyone interested in discussing substitution options may call the provided number within 2 business days and we will work to find a suitable alternative. Sometimes it is simply a different color or a different size of the original selection. In some circumstances, we need to find a different (but similar) item altogether. If we do not hear from you within 2 business days, we will process your order without the highlighted items so you may receive the rest of your order in a timely manner.

It is very important that you reply quickly to keep your order moving. As more time passes, the availability may continue to change.
