During these difficult times surrounding the Covid-19 outbreak Windsor is still pressing forward with business as usual. For the past 2 years we have all been preparing and planning to finish paint windows and doors at the West Des Moines facility. For several years, all Windsor PFI product (Pre-Finished Interior) has been painted and assembled in Monroe. It is exciting to announce Windsor has begun finish painting in WDM in February 2020.
With the major capital investment into a state-of-the-art painting system manufactured by Cefla the West Des Moines facility has expanded Windsor’s capacity and our commitment to our customers has never been stronger. Over the next several months the full offering of PFI products will be painted and manufactured at both Windsor facilities. We know the future of the window and door industry will place a major emphasis on our ability to paint and stain products for customers prior to the installation of the product. Adding value to our product is more important now than it ever has been.
These are exciting times for Windsor team members and customers alike. Our customers will enjoy an expansion of our painted products line, including trim packages, as well as decreased lead times.
