Windsor Employees Make the Difference

Each month, this internal initiative celebrates those outstanding individuals who make a difference in our company through self-motivation, consistency, dedication and engagement in the work they do every day. The managers from each of our three production facilities will select employees who demonstrate these qualities as “Difference Makers.” We are proud to recognize these special employees who exemplify the strong work ethic and personal integrity, and who make Windsor extraordinary.

Miguel Morales June Difference Maker

Miguel Morales was the June Difference Maker from our vinyl plant in Norwalk, IA. Miguel does a great job of keeping track of all products being produced so they may be staged for shipping in a timely manner. He is consistent in his daily duties and works well independently. Miguel can be relied upon to complete any task assigned to him and is dedicated to reaching the company's goals. Miguel gets along well with everyone in his area and always jumps in to assist wherever needed. Congratulations, Miguel, for being nominated a Difference Maker by your peers.

Edwin Valladares June Difference Maker

Our West Des Moines Difference Maker for the month of June was Edwin Valladares. Edwin has worked for Windsor for over 20 years and has spent the last few years in the glass wrap area. Despite the increasing demand in his department, Edwin stays current with his responsibilities and is motivated to reach the goals of the department. He makes a difference every day at Windsor and is an inspiration to us all. Thank you, Edwin, for all that you do, and showing us all what it means to be a Difference Maker. 

Jose Villamarin June Difference Maker

The June Difference Maker from our Monroe, NC plant was Jose Villamarin. Jose has been employed with Windsor for over 3 years and works on our door line. Jose is described by his peers as being a joy to work with and is a great team player. He is a dedicated employee who always keeps quality and safety in mind while performing his daily duties. He assists other departments when they need an extra hand, and we feel very fortunate to have him at Windsor. In his spare time he enjoys relaxing and spending time with his family. Congratulations, Jose, and thank you for all that you do.

Arnulfo Cruz July Difference Maker

The July Difference Maker from our Monroe, NC facility was Arnulfo Cruz. Arnulfo has worked for Windsor for over a year and is a valuable member of the Direct Set department. Despite his large workload, Arnulfo never complains and is proactive about getting his tasks completed. He is always willing to put in extra time to ensure his area runs as efficiently as possible and the goals of the department are met. He arrives at Windsor on time each day and is ready to take on whatever duty is assigned to him. In his free time Arnulfo enjoys hiking with his son and traveling. Thank you, Arnulfo, for your dedication to Windsor and its success.

Congratulations to Margarita Vega Rodriguez from the Norwalk vinyl casement department on being elected our July 2022 Difference Maker. Margarita puts forth her best effort each day and possesses all qualities needed to be a Difference Maker. She is happy to answer any questions regarding her area and is motivated to assist wherever she may be needed. She shows her dedication to the success of her department by training new members and ensuring they are successful in their daily duties. She always has a positive attitude and works well with everyone around her. Great job, Margarita.

Orlando O’Farrill Rivera July Difference Maker

Orlando O’Farrill Rivera was elected our July Difference Maker in our West Des Moines production plant. Orlando has extensive knowledge of the patio door department and can perform almost every duty necessary to the department. Due to increased volume in the casement line, Orlando has stepped in to assist them in their daily duties and help them achieve their production goals.  He makes an impact each day at Windsor by always having a positive attitude and being a great example to those around him. Congratulations, Orlando.

The August Difference Maker in our Monroe plant was Lisa Malloy. Lisa has been employed at Windsor for a little over a year in our metal department. She was chosen because she is a dedicated employee who does her job efficiently and steps in to assist other areas that have fallen behind in their schedule. She is not afraid of a challenge and has been trained to operate several different types of saws. She has demonstrated her commitment to Windsor by coming into work during her time off to assist with production needs. In her time off she enjoys watching TV, playing games, and spending time with her husband and dog, Sookie. Thank you, Lisa, for the difference you have made at Windsor.

Stuart Wohlford-Wessels August Difference Maker

The Difference Maker award in our Norwalk plant for the month of August went to Stuart Wohlford-Wessels. Stuart has been a dedicated member of the Maintenance department for several years. He is engaged in his daily duties and consistent in each task that he performs. Stuart is committed to making sure the Norwalk plant operates as smoothly as possible. He demonstrates this by being readily available when off site to assist with machining issues when they arise. He works well with his managers and peers and is an integral part of the Windsor team. Congratulations, Stuart!

Corey Johnson August Difference Maker

Corey Johnson was elected the August Difference Maker in our West Des Moines facility. Corey is a seasoned employee who has gained invaluable work experience in many production areas. He currently works in the Special Parts department. He is consistent and accurate in his daily duties, traits that are essential when handling so many different window parts and components each day. Stuart is always engaged in the task at hand and meeting the daily goals of the department. He is reliable and gets along well with his team members. Great job, Corey, and keep up the good work!
